Facilitation Services
- Are high and seemingly insurmountable goals tripping you or your
team up?
- Are too many opinions and too much information making it
hard to figure out which direction to take?
- Do you wonder how to solve big problems most easily?
- Is there, frankly, far too little time to make it all work?
If so, your internal departments may be squabbling. People may be missing minor and major milestones. And results don’t come close to your goals or what you must achieve in order to stay competitive in a rapidly changing market.
If you’re leading a team on an important or high-risk project, your team may be overwhelmed with mountains of work they’re expected to complete within a short time.
Over the past fifteen years, I’ve worked with many teams and leaders of large and small companies. In that time, I’ve received many questions about how facilitation can be used to help them get work done better, more easily, and faster than if they were working on their own.
The questions and concerns they ask fall into three broad categories:
- We don’t really need a facilitator, do we? While that may be true on a smaller project, a large high-risk or rapid-cycle project can be done most effectively by a team that has facilitation skills or resources helping them to be successful. The team will get more done with assistance in managing the team process, as well as by recording clear results so they can be used later. A good facilitator also helps dissolve feuds by moving unproductive debates to other venues, or defusing them altogether.
- How will a facilitator know enough to be able to help us reach critical milestones? A facilitator who is not a specialist in your industry can be just the catalyst you need to keep focused. Good facilitators direct you to engage in healthy debates and decision-making so you make steady and significant progress and are successful in reaching those milestones you must meet.
- How do we work in a way that doesn’t inhibit progress? An excellent facilitator works with team leaders before an event to ensure that she or he knows the team and individual goals and issues. By designing a process, ground rules, and resources to help the team achieve more, often the results are even better than the goals the team originally set for themselves.
If your business is struggling without a facilitator, then read on…
Bringing in a great facilitator could be just the thing to keep your team focused, and to prevent issues from hindering your progress.
What if…
- You could easily ask for help when you need it?
- You had little resistance to an outsider helping your team to reach goals faster?
- You could trust an outside facilitator to get your team across the finish line easily and completely?
- You used the results of your team’s work with a facilitator to turn plans into clear and significant action?
- You could easily find time in your schedule to prioritize and work with a facilitator for even greater team success.

Facilitation Services
Much of my consulting work involves working with large project and
change management teams, team training, project management, coaching,
and facilitation. We take big projects that seem insurmountable, yet
are vital to a team or company’s ultimate success. We help to create
team focus, sorting through everyone's data and opinions so they can
reach aggressive, yet critical milestones. This enables them to achieve
more desirable results.
They discover that being part of a very cohesive and high-achieving
team can be surprisingly satisfying, even amazing. It can be a definite
career “high.” We’ve experienced and helped create this experience
with many teams, helping them to exceed their personal expectations,
as well.
What we help them create, achieve, and learn in the process is much
more than what anyone dared to hope for.
