Visioning Services

  • Are you on the edge of the cliff, morale-wise, at your company yet you can’t blame it all on the current economy?
  • Is a lagging sense of company direction a significant problem where you work?
  • Are customer service and quality problems the main focus of every work day?
  • Do these problems prevent you from building a thriving enterprise for the future, as opposed to mere survival in these current times?

If declining profits and competition are snatching up great opportunities, it’s time for a critical change. Overcome distraction, employee frustration and poor time management.

You know something needs to change, and FAST. If the idea of “visioning” intimidates you, push your fears aside and turn your vision into a reality.

Over the past fifteen years of working with both large and small companies, I’ve heard many clients ask about how to create individual, as well as team goals. The challenge is to move into action both succinctly and graphically. You can use a powerful vision to refocus, then direct your team's attention and energy very effectively to bigger, more important goals. The experience and the vison that results lead you to higher profitability, product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and much more.

Concerns about visioning fell into four broad categories:

  1. We’ve never believed in that “right brain thinking.” It can’t work here, can it? Yes, it CAN work for you, no matter how analytical you and your team are, or how you normally work.
  2. Will I get laughed at when I suggest it? Maybe, but if you approach it with a positive spirit as a simple but significant way to improve the company or your team, it will be met with curiosity and confidence.
  3. We may find resistance if we post our vision in the office. Just remember, if your current system isn’t working, something has to change, somehow. You need a way to create a powerful shared goal to inspire, coalesce and guide your team. We’ll show you how.
  4. OK, I’m thinking about it…but I’m just not sure yet. Visioning has been described by people who have experienced the power of it as a shared creative experience that solidifies a bond between teammates. It strengthens their experience of their shared vision and shared future. Put power behind your team with our visioning expertise.

If these apply to you, then read on…

If you had all of the answers to these questions and issues at your company now, then visioning would be easy. What if…

  • You could comfortably work together to express individual aspirations, fears, frustrations and dreams for the business, team and yourself?
  • You had little resistance to creative activities, and could use visioning as a game of nothing but positive outcomes?
  • You could learn to live outside of your comfort zone to help, or even lead teammates better than ever before? You could transfer the visioning work into clear, viable plans that were easy to follow and implement?
  • You easily found time in your schedule to put these plans into action and start creating success?

Visioning Services

I’ve worked with some very large teams who were initially reluctant to try visioning. Some predicted outright failure. However, as time and experience showed them, they were wrong. One person who was part of a management team during a two-day visioning workshop said before the event, “We can’t get this done in anything less than two or three months!” Yet, once they experienced the process and realized how well it works, the biggest naysayers often become the biggest supporters of the visioning experience and the changes and improvements that result.

There’s no way around it. We can have a lot of fun creating your vision. This creative process enables many people of different strengths and perspectives to express ideas they’ve long kept to themselves. People have lots of ideas to make their jobs more compelling and satisfying. Giving them the freedom to express, uninhibited, their ideas, aspirations, and new ways they can and want to help create a compelling future for your company or team will lead to prosperous results in many areas.

What the teams achieve, create and learn in the process is usually much more than anticipated.
