A business wanted to focus their time and money on
the most valuable revenue- and cost-improving changes they could
make. They hired me to guide them, working with another experienced
Baldrige examiner, as they completed self-assessment to the Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award criteria. We trained a 12-person
team to use the criteria, then led six sub-teams in rapid-cycle,
full evaluation of the 6000-person company. The assessment team
exceeded expectations of results they would provide in the time
available and without prior experience. This work resulted in significant,
continuing improvement in the organization, and professional development
for all team members.
